Sheldon Louis Stewart

Sheldon LouisnStewart 44, was born on October 2, 1978, in Pittsburgh, PA. He passed on Saturday, October 22, 2022. Sheldon was the youngest of Joyce Scott's 5 children. Sheldon had a presence when he walked in the room and a smile that would light up your day. When he hugged you, you felt it and you had to wait for him to let go. Sheldon was saved and baptized. at a young age and was a part of the men's bible study. He graduated from Milton Hershey High School and attended La Roche College for one year before joining the Army. Sheldon was honored for saving a civilian during a random shooting He was part of the 307th Military Police and was deployed to Iraq where he was injured. He received a Purple Heart for his actions. He devoted himself to God and his family. Sheldon adored his two sons Adrian Joseph Summers and Sheldon, Jr. He and his girlfriend, Tamara had built a home together as a family. He loved his job at the VA hospital and had lots of friends. He was very proud when he bought his house and his truck. We will miss his Steelers parties and cookouts that he loved to have. He would do anything to show his mother how much. he loved her. He lived his life the best that he could by caring for and helping others.
Sheldon is preceded in death by his sister Sherry (Randy) Rhodes. He is survived by his mother Joyce Scott; two sons, Adrian Joseph Summers and Sheldon Louis Allen Stewart; one brother, Allen (Jennifer) Reynolds); two sisters, Audrey (Jeffrey) Portis and Alisa (Rick) Wright; and a host of nieces. nephews, family, and friends.
