Sheldon Dana Weese

Sheldon Weese Obituary Sheldon D. Weese, a respected resident of Wheeling, passed away peacefully at Wheeling Hospital on Saturday, June 28, 2025, after a brief illness. Born on March 10, 1948, in Elkins, West Virginia, Sheldon was the son of the late Thomas and Edna Doerr Weese. He enjoyed a successful career as a machine operator at Colgate-Palmolive Corporation in Cambridge, Ohio. An avid stamp collector and dedicated genealogist, Sheldon also graduated from the former Triadelphia High School in Wheeling. In addition to his parents, Sheldon was preceded in death by his two brothers, Steven and Barry Weese. He is survived by his loving wife, Christy Bonar Weese, whom he married on July 18, 1991, and their two daughters, Emma and Lokelani Weese, who live in Wheeling. In honoring Sheldons wishes, there will be no service. He is in the compassionate care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, WV.
