Sheree Jane Perkins

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Sheree Jane Perkins, 68, of Worcester. She became an angel on Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at UMass Memorial Hospital with her closest loved ones by her side.
She is survived by her two children, Jason Paul Perkins of Worcester, and Ashley Lyn Perkins-Crane and her husband Johnathan of Houston, Texas and a 3-year-old granddaughter Bailee Crane. She also leaves her brother Hampton Perkins Jr. and his wife Pamela, along with Scot Chervin, her companion of 46 years. She is predeceased by her father Hampton Perkins, mother Sally Grigaliunas, grandmother Jane Ritter, Uncle Jack Ritter, Aunt Janis Novotny, and her beloved cat Muffin.
Sheree graduated from Burncoat Senior High School in 1974. Afterward, she graduated from Broms Academy of Hairdressing in 1977. She transitioned into healthcare, graduating from Worcester Fanning Trade School in 1984, and subsequently worked as a Medical Assistant and Medical Computer Programmer. Later in her career she became a Medical Billing Specialist for UMass Memorial Healthcare where she retired from in 2024.
Her most cherished accomplishments in life were being a mother, raising her two children, and the profound joy of becoming a grandmother. She loved the beach, especially Cape Cod, and tanning using her baby oil. She was an amazing cook and always made enough to feed an army. She enjoyed gardening, taking car rides to look at the New England scenery, and shopping at T.J Maxx with her late mother. In recent years, she looked forward to daily video chats with her daughter and granddaughter. The conversations always ended with funny faces and battles of who loved who more. Her family meant everything to her.
Her favorite movies were The Wizard of Oz, It's A Wonderful Life, The Notebook, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and Blended. If you visited or called, one of these would likely be on in the background.
Her favorite quote was from Cheers when Norm said "It's my birthday Sammy. Give me a beer, stick a candle in it, and I'll blow out my liver".
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 6-8 pm at Dirsa Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester, Ma.
