Sheri Lee Graves passed away peacefully on August 2nd, 2023 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Fern Buckley, father Archibald Rudolph Wentz, brother Roger Wentz, sister-in-law Maria Wentz, daughter Tina Marie Presley and son Grant Robinson. She is survived by daughter Amanda Pilcher (Bailey) & her husband Jasson Pilcher, daughter Christy Spencer, niece Marlene Madden (Wentz) and her husband Gary Madden, 4 Grandchildren, 3 great nieces Kim Wentz, Sonya Wentz (Smith) and her husband Reeve Smith, Misty Madden and great nephew Gary (Bubba) Madden, 2 great-great nieces Sasha Rose and Maylee Jane & 1 great-great nephew Noah Reeve and cousin Beverly Wentz (Suiter).
Sheri loved the outdoors with a passion and enjoyed visiting the family cabin up in the Big Horn Mountains, just past Bear Lodge. The love she had for her family, her kids, dogs, horses and wildlife was admired by many.
Just like she named her animals, she also named all of her vehicles, too! Her truck Bonnie n Clyde was the one she spoke of and loved the most.
She worked at the coal company in Sheridan many years ago and multiple other jobs including stay at home wife and raising chickens while selling eggs for a living. At one point when she was done with the business, she sold all 250 laying hens and equipment to buy herself a vehicle! She lived and traveled many states but ended up in Sheridan, Wyoming. Before she made her final destination to Sheridan, Sheri had a job in an IT manufacturing plant in Phoenix, AZ. It was there where she met her lifelong friend (and boss) Sue Johnson who called her BRAT. She was meticulous with her hands, had an eye (and steady hands!!) for fine detail and she was great at her job.
Sheri had a heart of gold and if you were lucky enough for her to call you a friend, then that's exactly what you were! She would give the shirt off of her back and go without just so that you didn't have to. I never knew one time where she wasn't trying to help someone out and put her own needs aside, from the kindness of her heart. It always made her feel good to do good unto others. Every night she always prayed for everyone as she lay down to rest before she fell asleep.
