Sherlee A. Hilberg, age 89, wife of the late Warren H. Hilberg, Sr., of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at home. Born on September 27, 1936 in Norristown, PA, she was a daughter of the late H. Sherid and Annette (Pennock) Garrett.

As she began her family, Mrs. Hilberg cherished her role of homemaker. As her children grew, she worked as an administrative assistant for National Liberty Life Insurance, where she would retire from. To keep herself busy in retirement, Mrs. Hilberg worked as a receptionist for The Phoenix newspaper. Until this school year, she was also working as a lunch attendant at the Phoenixville Middle School, where she was known for her pizza making abilities.

Mrs. Hilberg was an avid Phillies and Elvis fan, and she enjoyed knitting, sewing, completing crossword puzzles, reading, watching General Hospital as well as sci-fi movies. Affectionately known as a crazy cat lady, Mrs. Hilberg will be remembered for her taste in stale Peeps, and for always carrying pieces of hard candy in her pockets.

Most of all, Mrs. Hilberg loved her family and was lovingly referred to as Gram by her family and even their friends. She experienced the loss of her husband and son at a young age, and yet she persevered for her family. The time she spent with her daughter, granddaughters and her great-grandchildren left memories that will continue to be shared through generations.

Mrs. Hilberg is survived by one daughter, Vicki Gephart; five granddaughters, Brittany, wife of Ben Carville, Chelsea, wife of Colby Mross, Kaitlyn, wife of Dennis Christie, Shannon, wife of Corey Ferko, and Rebecca, wife of Cory Chance; fourteen great-grandchildren, Taylor, Colby, Lucy, Emily, Doc, Emmy, Warren, Brayden, Charlotte, Maverick, McKenna, Micah, Grace, and Wyatt; and one niece. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Warren H. "Skip", husband of Betty M. "Betsy" Hilberg; and one sister, Ethel "Twink" Heitman.

A private graveside service for family will take place in the St. Ann Cemetery, Phoenixville. The family requests that no flowers be sent, but rather, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Montgomery County Down Syndrome Interest Group by visiting www.mcdsig.org/donate. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA. Condolences may be offered online at www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com.
