She and her twin Terri were born on April 24, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN to G.B. and Norma J. Spears.
She attended schools #33, #101 and Arsenal Technical Highschool (ATHS) in Indianapolis, IN.
Sherri worked in the Insurance Industry for many years as a Data Entry Clerk at Commercial Union Insurance Co and Long Term Disability Claims Specialist at American United Life Insurance.
She loved spending time with her family and friends, playing board games, traveling, eating out, listening to rock music and dancing any chance she got.
She is survived by her two sons, Tony (Lisa) Smith, Joshua (Isabeau) Smith.
Five Grandchildren, Devon, Anthony, Arianna, Austin and Bryce.
Seven Siblings, Brenda (Tony) Jenkins, Steve Spears, Gregory Spears, Terri (John) Abney, George (Debbie) Spears, Jim Spears and Judy Pennington.
Sherri is preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson, Parents, Sisters Beverly Osbourn, Diane Spears and Lura Spears.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East Funeral Center, located at 10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229.
An additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Flanner Buchanan - Washington Park East Funeral Center.
Her funeral will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
