Sherri Renee Williams passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Baptist Health Louisville.
She was born May 6, 1964, in Louisville, KY to the late Billy Allison and Marjorie Wells. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Mike Williams; her grandsons Alexander Jones and Nathan Hammond; and a brother Kevin Allison.
Sherri was a loving and devoted wife and mother who had a deep love for her family, animals, and the beach. Known for her kind heart and infectious smile, she brought joy to every room she entered and will be remembered for her warm, happy spirit.
Sherri is survived by her children, Phillip (Angela) Burgin, Lindsey Emrah, Tonia (Ryan) Fisher, Brittany (David) Burgin, Cory Williams, Brianna Williams, and Ashley (Jackie) Williams Greene; eight grandchildren, Billie Burgin, Abagail Burgin, Isaiah (Savannah) Burgin, Austin (Pam) Jones, Madison (Matthew) Jones, Paisley Fisher, Jeremiah Hammond, Damius Williams, Ethan and Zoe; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 11-2:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Happy Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Garnettsville Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the funeral home.
