Sherrie Lyn Brown

Sherrie Lyn (Cobean) Brown passed away early in the morning on May 24 after having health issues for many years. She was born on January 14, 1956 to Bob and Shirley Cobean. She is survived by her husband Ron and her children Travis, Shane, and Jennifer. She is also survived by siblings Pam George and Mike Bowers and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Pat Bowers.
Sherrie graduated from Niwot High School in 1974. She attended Beauty School and received her beautician's license. Sherrie worked at Albertsons for 20+ years, starting in the bakery, moved into a bookkeeping position, and became a division trainer. She went on to work 20+ years at Welzig Heating and Air until her recent retirement. Sherrie didn't just work, she gave her all and more to assure her job was always done at the highest level.
Ron and Sherrie married on April 13, 1974, having recently celebrated their 51st anniversary. Their children are Travis (Meagan), Shane (Christy), and Jennifer. Grandchildren are Jessica Cook, Kaleb, McKenzie, Morgan and Jordan Brown, and Finnegan Keyes. Sherrie was completely dedicated to her family orchestrating many gatherings of her loved ones, while creating family traditions that continue today. She also had the best sleepovers for her grandkids where they watched movies and just "talked."
Sherrie had a smile that would light up a room, a laugh that sparkled, and she gave the best hugs. If you asked for help or advise, she would be honest and forthright in her answer. She will be remembered not only for her strength and independence but for the love she gave freely, the lives she touched, and the legacy she left behind. Forever In Our Hearts!

Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 3rd at 2pm at Viegut Funeral Home with reception to follow.
