I will miss Sherries sweet spirit. I loved sharing our goals for the garden and canning. Sherrie was always so kind and patient, even when others were not. I will miss her, as I know so many others will too! I know she is in the arm of a loving Father and with those who have gone on before. Until we meet again dear friend!

We do not know the difficulties or sorrows that many people go through, Sherrie was an example for me in the kind way she tried to help the students of our institution. RIP Sherrie.

Sherrie is such a kind and and caring person. Over the years we worked in the SLCC Student Center together she and I would regularly run into each other, walking through the parking lot or in the building. She was always so genuine, and made you feel like you mattered. She didn't just say hello and ask how you were doing as a superficial question. That always stood out to me, how she took the time to get to know people and care about them. She has such a big heart. I will miss our conversations and her big smile. Sending prayers to her friends and family in this difficult time.

Through the years of working at the college, Sherrie and I would cross paths. I enjoyed visiting with her through the years and appreciate her patience with me around explaining policies in her most recent role. Sherrie, was, and has always looked so young. I can't believe she's gone. I will pray for peace for her and her family.

Oh sweet Sherrie, you will be so missed. In the many years we worked together in the Registrar's office at SLCC, I learned to dearly love you. As we shared an office together we had many long wonderful talks together and I admired your great ability to love those you served and the many friends who loved you there and all over campus. You are one of the most loving, caring persons I have ever known. It is such a blessing to have been your friend and shared in that love numerous times. I love you and will truly miss you dear. I know you are wrapped in the arms of your loving Father in Heaven and are enjoying a beautiful reunion with loved ones who have gone before. God bless.....

Sherrie always greeted me with a kindness that stood out among everyone. She was so thoughtful, helpful, and a lovely, lovely person. I saw her as one of the "heart of SLCC" people who simply belonged wherever she was because she made it better. Her absence will be deeply felt.

Sherrie, would always take care of my needs whenever, I was in her area at work, she would greet me with a smile. I am so sad that this Commencement for SLCC, she will not be at the tents, greeting students and coworkers. She was a treasure and will be missed.
