Sherrie Kyncl, 71, of Niles, MI passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at her home.
A gathering will be held from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel and Cremation Service, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI 49085. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Those wishing to share a memory of Sherrie online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com
Sherrie was born November 18, 1952, in Chicago, IL to Eugene and Vivian (Olander) Piggott. She graduated from Senn High School in Chicago. Sherrie worked for Cedarwood Medical Center as an EKG Technician as well as Harding's Market in Bridgman. Sherrie also enjoyed volunteering at Hanson Hospice Center.
In addition to her vibrant personality, Sherrie was a devoted lover of life's simple joys. Her warm heart extended not only to her wide circle of friends but also to her cherished grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. Sherrie found solace and happiness in the companionship of her beloved dogs, who were constant sources of comfort and love. She had a special affinity for vibrant colors, finding beauty and inspiration in the hues of the world around her. Among her favorite sights were the delicate flutter of butterflies and the fragrant blooms of lilac bushes, which always brought a smile to her face. Sherrie's zest for life and her unwavering love for those around her will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
Sherrie is survived by her son Savan (Stacie) Avadarian; daughter Sara (Matt) Kuhlman; grandchildren Aleah, Hunter, Abigail, Harrison, Averie, Emma, and Hanna; sisters Carin (Steven) Diete, Carol (Jack) Cooper and Jonnie Marie Piggott; brother Carl (Karen) Interrante; and many nieces and nephews.
Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents and husband Charles Kyncl.
