Sherry Francis Ashmore (Nee Dozier) sadly passed away on April 20, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 25, 1937 to the parents of the late Millard Dozier and Grace Brock. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Robert D. Ashmore, son Joseph Eric Ashmore, and grandson Sean Flanagan. Surviving are her children Gary (Connie) Ashmore, Scott (Kaye) Ashmore, Jeff (Carolyn) Ashmore, Ben (Cindy) Ashmore, Gwen (John) Flanagan, and Jonathan Ashmore. She leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Sherry was a longtime member of the Nazarene Church of Christ. Her hobbies were the love of playing piano and most of all her family. She will be greatly missed. Love you mom. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kobacker House 800 McConnell Dr. Cols, 43214. Services will held at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home Clintonville Chapel (4341 North High St.). Visitation is on Thursday April 27, 2023 from 4 to 6pm and a funeral service will take place on Friday April 28, 2023 at 10:30am. Interment at Union Cemetery to follow.
