She was born June 21, 1949 in Amarillo, TX, the daughter of the late Arnold Powelson of Texas and Bobbie J. (Honea) Miller of Albuquerque, NM.
Sherry is survived by her daughter, Tina and husband (Daniel) Symonds of Troy, IL; two grandchildren: Caleb and Cameron Symonds of Roswell, NM; and brothers: Ryan York and spouse, (Erensto Sanchez-Burjada) of Santa Barbara, CA, Robert Miller, Sr of Albuquerque, NM and Rick Miller.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Montigny-Hall; mother Bobbie Juanita (Honea) Miller; step-father Loren Daney Miller, Sr; father Arnold Lynn Powelson; brothers Vern Miller, Sr., Johnny Miller, Loren Miller, Sr. and Eddie Miller; and nieces Spring Miller, April Miller and Everly Myers.
Per Sherry's request, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to any cancer or Heart Association in your area.

I miss you so much momma! I still can't believe you are gone, but I find peace in knowing you are with our Lord Jesus Christ and our Savior. Knowing you are no longer in pain, or suffering provides peace in the spaces of my heart that is missing you so much.
