Shoshone Funeral Services - KelloggSherry Lynn Distefano, 56, of Pinehurst, ID, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025 at Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene, ID. Sherry was born on February 7, 1969 in Bainbridge, MD, a daughter of Ron and Mary Gamet.
Sherry was known for her warmth, strength, sense of humor, resilience, and generosity.
Survivors include her father, Ron Gamet; sister, Debbie; Sherry’s husband, Eugene; and her two children, Lori and Gillian; and her precious granddaughter, Aurora.
A celebration of Sherry’s life will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, 12:00 PM at Real Life Church in Pinehurst. All who knew and loved Sherry are welcome to attend and share memories.
Though our hearts our heavy, we are comforted by the memories we hold and the legacy she leaves behind. Sherry will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
