Sherry Lynn Greenawalt, age 62, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025. She was born on January 14, 1963, in Bath, Ohio to her loving parents, the late Charles and Jane Cox.

Sherry was the beloved wife of Glenn Greenawalt with whom she shared 28 beautiful years. She was a devoted sister to Lesia (nee Cox) Savoca and was preceded in death by her sisters Debbie (nee Cox) Hejny, Kim (nee Cox) Truong, and Donna (nee Cox) Hoskins. She was a treasured aunt to Tiffany Goad, Kelly (nee Savoca) West, Bryan Savoca, Donielle Cox, Ryan Cox (deceased), Cassandra Cox, Alexandra Truong, Jade Truong, and David Cox.

A loving mother to many “four-footed” companions over the years, Sherry also became a proud “grandma” to several “four-foot” granddaughters. She found joy in cooking for her family and spent quiet time crocheting with care and creativity.

Sherry will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111.
