Born in Pennsylvania on November 27, 1973, Chris later made Alabama his true home-a place that shaped him into the proud, passionate "Alabama man" everyone knew and loved. For the past ten years, he called
Naples, Florida home, where he passed peacefully on June 20, 2025, after a long and courageous hospital stay. Chris was a remarkable man-generous, loyal, kind-hearted, and full of love. He was devoted to his faith, his family, and to making the lives of those around him brighter.
His relationship with Dorene, whom he met through online dating seven years ago, blossomed into a deep and unwavering partnership. Though not formally married, Chris lovingly referred to her as his wife, and together they shared a life rooted in love, commitment, and mutual respect. Throughout their years together, he also embraced Dorene's family as his own-forming a special bond with her mother, Helen, and beaming with pride over their nephew, David. His love extended to their beloved pets-Josie, Bear, and Kringle-whom he cared for every day with tenderness and affection.
One of the highlights of recent months was a trip to Alabama in November, where Chris spent time with his daughter Kaitlinn and son-in-law Nathan, his sons Shawn and Andrew, and his cherished grandchildren, Owen and Ellie. That visit, filled with laughter, reconnection, and unforgettable memories, was a testament to the powerful bonds of love and family that defined his life. Though he did not see them often, he loved them with all his heart and missed them. The ultimate goal was to move back to Alabama to be able to spend more time with them. And, of course, no trip to Alabama would have been complete without attending a University of Alabama football game-a lifelong passion that turned Saturdays into sacred rituals. Roll Tide, always.
Chris spent his days tending to his eBay store and generously giving his time and heart to the Naples AA community, where his honesty, wisdom, and support impacted countless lives.
He is survived by Dorene, his extended family, his former wife Tina, and the many friends and neighbors who cherished his spirit. Chris will be missed every single day-but those who loved him take comfort in knowing that his strength, love, and laughter will continue to echo in their hearts. Roll Tide!
