Sherry Nell Harris (Plainview)

Sherry Harris, 61, of Kress passed away on Friday April 26, 2024 in her home. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday May 1, 2024 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Plainview, TX. Burial will follow at McAdoo Cemetery in McAdoo, TX. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 5-8 P.M in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.

Sherry was born on December 30, 1962 in Matador, TX to Lonnie and Darnel Doran. She married Dale Harris on March 18, 1998 in Ruidoso, NM. She loved music festivals, going camping in the camper and Sonic Dr. Peppers. She was an avid sports fan who loved the Texas Tech Red Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes. She especially loved her husband, kids and grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Doran and her mother and step father, Darnell and Ronnie McGowen.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Harris of Kress; four children, Trey Holmes and wife Melissa of Floydada, TX, Tana Holmes of Marion, TX, Nicole Stark and husband Justin of Kress, TX, and Shawn Harris and wife Kelly of McAdoo, TX; nine grandchildren, Ryan and Fiancé Kalista, Natalie and Fiancé Andre, Kylee, Wyatt, Blake, Blaze, Dj, Justin and Reyna; three brothers, Donnie Doran, Rodney and Shara Doran and Dale and Christy Doran; her special sisters, Debbie Requa and Teresa Brown.
