It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sherry Ramsey, a beloved mother, friend, and a genuinely joyful soul. Sherry's departure from this world may have come too soon, but her memory will forever reside in the hearts of all those she touched during her time with us.Sherry was a person who radiated happiness and positivity throughout her life. Her infectious smile and warm spirit endeared her to everyone she met. She possessed an incredible capacity to love and be loved, and her circle of friends and family was a testament to the impact she had on those around her.As a mother, Sherry was a shining example of unconditional love and devotion. She had three biological children, but her maternal instincts extended well beyond her own family. To her, anyone in need of care and protection became one of her own. She fiercely protected her children, even if it meant making tough decisions. Her intentions were always rooted in love, and she left an indelible mark on the lives of her children, both biological and adopted.Sherry's faith was a guiding light in her life. She found solace and comfort in her belief, and we take comfort knowing that she is now in God's embrace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. It is a testament to her kindness and the strength of her character that she touched the lives of so many who were fortunate to know her.As we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary human being, let us remember Sherry Ramsey for the remarkable person she was. Her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will continue to inspire us all. Though she may have left us physically, her spirit remains alive in the cherished memories we hold close to our hearts. She is survived by her husband Edward Taylor Ramsey, her mother Vernell Feagle, five children Amanda Nicole Croft, William Wade Croft, William Taylor Ramsey, Anthis Marie Ramsey, and Amber Lynn Murdoch, and four grandchildren Aurora Jade Croft, Gracie Kennerson, Garyson Ramsey and Sandra Croft.Sherry, your sons and daughters and husband will forever keep your memory alive through the love they hold for you. We believe that you are listening from above, and the conversations you shared with him will endure in his heart. You may be gone, but your presence remains, and we will carry your love with us always. With heartfelt love and fond memories, Your Family and Friends.A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Evans Carter Funeral Home.
