Sherry Elizabeth Seitz

Sherry Elizabeth Simms, of St Augustine Florida passed away on June 5th, 2022. Sherry was born and raised in St Augustine. Sherry was a woman with a huge heart that loved simple things in life. She would do anything for the ones she loved and would always lend a shoulder for anyone that needed it to cry on.
Being from a large family, one of her passions was cooking for everyone every chance she could. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter Lauren and her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the sunrise and fishing with them until the sunset.
There are no words to describe how much she will be missed. She is survived by her parents John M Simms and Mary Knaggs Simms, her daughter Lauren S. Simms, her grandchildren Macy Madison Bloomer, Dalton Joseph Bloomer, and Savannah Elizabeth Bloomer. Her siblings; brothers, Johnny McGee of Carnesville, Ga, John M. Simms Jr, Stacy W. Simms (Deanna) of St Augustine FL and Jimmy A. Simms of Tallahassee FL. Her sisters Kimberly F Haney and Marcie Pennington of St Augustine FL and Sheila R. McCormick of Stewart FL, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not. You may be gone from our sight, but never forgotten.
