Sherry Darlene Taylor, 76, went to her heavenly home on November 21, 2025, passing at her residence. Sherry was born on October 13, 1949, in Hugo, OK, the daughter of Marvin Asberry Brannan and Juanita Cornelia (Strickland) Brannan. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandchildren, Blake Edwards and Hollyn Allensworth.

Sherry was a lifelong resident of Wright City, Oklahoma and graduated from Wright City High School, Class of 1967. She later began working at Tyson Foods, where she dedicated over 30 years of service and retired as a supervisor in 2011.

Beyond her professional career, Sherry's hobbies revolved around her family. Whether that was cheering them on from the stands or making sure to take pictures of everything they did. Sherry was their biggest supporter and fan at every event they were involved in. Her love for them, knew no bounds. Sherry's passing has left a void in the hearts of her family but her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

Sherry is survived by her son, Anthony Garrett and wife, Tara of Valliant; grandchildren, Jordan Garrett, Bayln Newsom and fiancé, Taylor, Addisyn Garrett and Aydin Garrett; great grandchildren, Jayla Garrett and Anakin Newsom; brothers, Marvin Brannan, Jr. and wife, Ava of Wright City and Richard "Dicky" Brannan and wife, Tommie of Wright City; sisters, Annette Cooper and husband, Bill of Wright City and Linda Hogue of Mena; along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
