Sherry Westfall

Sherry Westfall, age 85, of Lincoln, Illinois died on Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Lincoln, Illinois. She was born on August 3, 1939 in Avon, Illinois the daughter of Leslie and Verla (Kille) Hatch. She was preceded in death by her husbands Jerald Puckett, James (Red) Rennie and James E. Westfall Surviving are her children: Paul (Darla) Puckett of Lincoln, Illinois, Chris (Lani) Puckett of Maryville TN and Jerry Puckett of Lincoln, IL ; six grandchildren Cassandra (Chad) Hurd of Lincoln, IL and Kayla (Bobby) Jenkins of Heiskell TN and Jolyn Puckett of Maryville TN and Chris (Colby) Puckett Maryville TN and Mitchell (Rebecca) Puckett of Maryville, TN and 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Luticia (Bill) Richardson of Onieda IL and one brother, Tyrus Kille of Bushnell, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mitch Puckett; two brothers, Jay Kille and Mike Kille; one grandson, Jordan Puckett. She worked at the State of Illinois Mental Hospital starting at Research hospital in Galesburg IL. Then transferred to the LDC in Lincoln, IL. Retiring in 2000 Thank you, Memorial Hospices nurses and Wendy Baker, for all the help. Graveside services will be held on April 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Knoxville Cemetery, Knoxville, Illinois. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes & Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois.
