Steve Simmons Obituary
He was born on October 17, 1963 in Galesburg, Illinois to Don and Judy (King) Simmons.
Surviving Steve is his mother, Judy; his two sons, Josh (Miranda DeBroeck) Simmons, Robert (Britany Peterson) Simmons; and his four grandchildren, Natiya Simmons, Colton Simmons, Harmony Simmons, and Weston Simmons. He was preceded in death by his father, Don, and his brother, Ron Simmons.
Steve graduated from Alwood High school. He worked for County Waste, a box factory, Montgomery Elevator, the Canadian Pacific Railroad, and George's Antique and Restorative Auto Shop. Steve had a passion and talent for painting and restoring old cars.
Cremation rights have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. On-line condolences or expressions of sympathy may be made through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhomes.com
