Sherryle Jones

Sherryle "Sherry Jo" Jones, 79, of Anderson passed away at the Waters of Middletown and went to her heavenly home on Sunday July 27, 2025 soon after finding out she had pancreatic cancer.  She was born on November 19, 1945, in Oakland CA. the first child to the late Donald and Geneva (Borg) Hanson.

She grew up in Chesterfield and Shirley and graduated from Knightstown High School in 1963. During her adult years she lived in Virginia, Japan, California, Utah and Texas, living in Middletown and Anderson area the last several years.   She attended nursing school and Ivy Tech. Sherryle had several jobs in the service industry and retired from Sallie Mae as a processing clerk.  She enjoyed cooking, coloring, crocheting and crossword puzzles in her later years.  She attended the Middletown Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren and the North Anderson Church of Christ.  She loved Jesus.  

Sherryle is survived by two children, Charles "Chuck" D. Keller and Veronica Sue Keller; grandchildren, Andrew Brunner and Savannah (Nathan) Barnett; great grandchildren, Mason Brunner and Nadalynn Brunner; sister, Brenda Clark.  She has a great granddaughter expected very soon.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Dona Burkhardt; brother-in-law, John Clark.  

Services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday August 4, 2025, at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial will follow at Miller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Middletown Upper Fall Creek Church of the Brethren or North Anderson Church of Christ in her memory.
