Sheryl Devroy Obituary
Sheryl Lynn (Smith) Devroy, Sherry, was born on May 11, 1954 to Samuel and Grace Smith. She is survived by her 3 children, Danielle Devroy, Jason Devroy (Alicia), Rhiannon Salisz, son in law Eric Henriques, Grandsons Dillon, Adrian, Tyler, Ethan, Eric J, & great granddaughter Stevie, whom she was SO ecstatic about as she FINALLY had a girl grandchild.
Sherry was preceded in death by her son, John Brian Devroy, mother and father, Grandma Hazel Smith, first husband, Val Devroy & a host of dogs (Chelsea, Spot, Beau, Madison, Loki, Jax, Odin, Zeus, & Gypsy)
Sherry loved music and anything outdoors. She was in tune with nature and loved hiking, gardening, camping, bon fires & being at the lake or around any body of water. She had a keen eye for detail that was a great help when she was shopping for antiques & restoring them along with historical homes. She also excelled in her career as paralegal.
Sherry enjoyed road trips, often bringing her grandson Eric J along on her adventures. She was a lover of animals and kept a huge dog or 2 at all times. She was artistic and creative with a kind heart, great sense of humor, and a loving soul.
Sherry accomplished many things in life and her family meant a lot to her. We are going to miss her beyond measure until next time Mom, Gran, Grams
She never wanted a traditional funeral, we will be celebrating her life around her birthday in May in an outdoor setting, as she would have preferred and enjoyed, details will be forthcoming.
