Sheryl R. Vance, age 52 of Auburn, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Sheryl was born on August 28, 1971 in Auburn to Wayne A. and Rosemary M. (Miller) Sprunger. She was a 1990 graduate of Eastside High School in Buter.
She married Sam Vance on April 29, 1996 in Butler and he resides in Auburn.
Sheryl had worked for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service in Auburn for several years preparing taxes, which she enjoyed. She also enjoyed going to church where she was a member at the Life Changing Church in Edgerton, Ohio. Sheryl was a very social and active person who enjoyed being on the go. She liked going on lunch dates with friends and driving around at during the Halloween and Christmas seasons looking at the lights and house decorations. She was a wonderful and caring wife, mother, daughter and sister and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include:
Her husband of 27 years; Sam Vance of Auburn.
Son; Christopher Bell of Auburn.
Son; Loren Vance of Auburn.
Step son and daughter-in-law; Michael D. W. and Angel Vance of Butler.
Her mother; Rosemary Sprunger of Auburn.
Brother and sister-in-law; Scott and Jessica Sprunger of New Haven.
Brother and sister-in-law; Sam and Brie Sprunger of Bluffton, Ohio
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her dad; Wayne Sprunger on October 31, 2022.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Life Changing Church, 428 West Vine Street in Edgerton, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be given in Sheryl's memory to the Life Changing Church, 428 West Vine Street, Edgerton, Ohio 43517.
