Shi-heim Day’Ervin Hancock was born July 27, 2000, in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of James Starnes and Terkillea S. Hamler. He passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at his residence in Hermitage, Tennessee.
Shi-heim was educated in the Nashville Davidson County Public School System. He attended Whites Creek High School.
In his spare time, he enjoyed basketball and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memories are his loving mother, Terkillea (Rodrick) Hamler, father, James (Nicole Jones) Starnes, siblings, Shymonti Hancock, Ollis Welch, Isaiah Welch, Donna Hamler, Robert Porter, Stephan Hancock, Rodrick Hamler, Jr., Delvoni Hamler, Davion Hamler, James Starnes, Jr., Javonterious Starnes and loving grandparents, Carolyn Hancock, Leora Payne, grandfather, Victor Starnes, aunts, Tiara Hall, Tajiana (Jordan) Taylor, Tasha Payne, uncles, Lat Hancock, Jr., Harry Payne and a host of other, devoted aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, loving companion, Zarquisia Lyles and best friend, Jamontez Howse.
