Shirley was born on October 19, 1945, in Cairo, MO, the daughter of Woodrow and Fern (Compton) McCollum. She was a graduate of Cairo High School in 1964. Shirley was the owner and operator of Billue's Daycare in Salisbury, MO. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and the ABWA. Shirley enjoyed shopping traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Troy Billue and wife Angie of Salisbury, MO, Tracey Billue and her significant other Elmer Wright of Salisbury, MO; three grandchildren, Jordan Perkins and wife Brittany of Armstrong, MO, Mitchell Henke and wife Julia of Brunswick, MO, Amanda Nejedly of Carrollton, MO; four great grandchildren, Kanan, Hayden, Isaac, Archer; one sister, Veda Landon, and husband, Rob Almquist of Overland Park, KS.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents.
A private family graveside will be held at a later date in the Liberty Christian Church Cemetery in Cairo, MO. Memorials are suggested to the Liberty Christian Church Cemetery, c/o Shirley Brown, 1793 County Road 1780, Cairo, Missouri 65239. Arrangements are under the direction of Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, MO.
