Shirley J. DeBolt, 89 of Midland, went to be with the Lord at her home on October 2, 2025. She was born July 4, 1936, in Midland, the daughter of the late Sidney and Lela (Neal) Campbell. On January 31, 1953, she married Vern Darrell DeBolt in Midland.

She was ninth in a family of ten siblings, all of which have gone on except her loving brother Larry whom she shared very special times with in her last few years.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Darla J. Kaminski, Darvin D. (Vicky) DeBolt, Michael W. (Melody) DeBolt, and Brian D. DeBolt; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She also leaves behind her second family and many friends at Riverside Place, her home, for the last 5 years.

Predeceased, and there to welcome her home, will be her husband, Darrell; grandson Zachary M. DeBolt, and son-in-law James Kaminski.

A private family service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday October 4, 2025, at the Homer Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation made in her name to the Pardee Cancer Treatment Fund or to Midland's Open Door.

All of us at Ware Smith Woolever are honored the DeBolt family has entrusted us with the care of their loved one.
