Shirley Jo DeLeo passed away peacefully at home with her daughters by her side on June 12th, 2025, at the age of 70.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Anthony "Ants" DeLeo; Parents Charles Friend and Retha Joanne Friend; Brother Richard "Buck" Friend and sister-in-law Loretta Friend.

Shirley is survived by her daughters Shilo DeLeo and Lisa Anderson; Sisters Peggy Friend, Judy (Gunny) Raines, and Gwenda (Chester) Havens; along with multiple nieces and nephews.

Shirley was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, from 11am-2pm at the barn at Everett Ranch located at 10090 County Road 150 in Salida. Come and go as you please but bring memories and love.

Dear Shilo and Lisa,
It was very nice to spend a little time with you the other evening though sad to hear of Shirley's passing.
I very much enjoyed visiting with her in the yard and wish we'd had more time together.
Please know that Jim and I think of you often, feel free to call on us for anything.
