Shirley Ebert

Shirley Ebert (Buckley), 86, of East Falmouth, MA, passed away at home on May 17, 2022.
Formerly of Attleboro, MA, North Woodstock, NH and Rumford, RI, she moved to the Cape five years ago to be closer to immediate family. Shirley was the daughter of the late Winsor and Mary Viola (Donnelly) Buckley of Seekonk, MA. Shirley was married to William B. Ebert Jr. in 1954 and they were happily married for 52 years, until his death in 2006. She leaves her son, Scott Ebert of East Falmouth, MA, and her daughter, Sheila Storrs and her husband, Dave, of Trapper Creek, Alaska and a sister, Rita Pellitier of Pawtucket, RI. She also leaves 4 grand grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Shirley enjoyed working as a waitress for the majority of her life. She worked at Highland Country Club, in Attleboro as head waitress, O'Briens Restaurant in Norton, Ma, and Dad's Restaurant at the Beacon Motel in Lincoln, NH before moving to Rumford, RI to care for her sister, Edith Najarian until her death in 2013. Shirley enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and spending time with family. Shirley also enjoyed crocheting Afghans and donating them to the local charities, completing word search puzzles and traveling around the country. Shirley was an avid lover of animals.
A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at a later date.
