Shirley Jean Hays, age 87, took her last breath on October 5th, 2025. She was born on April 7th, 1938 to the late Mildred Jones & Herman Goad. In addition to her parents Shirley is preceded in death by her sons, Ricky Hays (Tina), Ronnie Hays & Roger Hays (Tina); and her sister, Hazel England.
Shirley retired from The Medical Center of Bowling Green as a surgical technician after many years of hard work. She loved watching her grandsons play baseball. In her free time she was an avid NASCAR fan. She loved watching the races on Sundays where Jeff Gordon was her favorite driver. Shirley often traveled back to Indiana where she greatly enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones.
Shirley is survived by her twin children, Renee Hays (John) and Robin Hays (Missy) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Heather Ann Hays Griffen (Micheal) and Amber Camile Hays of Plainfield, Indiana, Colton Alan Turner (Lauren) and Hunter Layne Dewayne Hays of Bowling Green, Kentucky. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and loved ones.
Cremation was chosen, Arrangements have been entrusted to the J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel. There are no services scheduled at this time.
