Shirley Ann Holloway
The world dimmed slightly June 3rd, 2025 as we said goodbye to a woman whose light touched everyone lucky enough to know her. Shirley Ann Holloway was born September 24th, 1941 in Newton County Missouri. Shirley passed away peacefully surrounded by love, grace and the legacy of a life lived without reservation.
Shirley was a force of nature - equal parts fire, kindness, strength and softness. Whether she was lifting others up with her words, fighting tirelessly for what she believed in, or simply listening with her full heart, she gave herself without hesitation. Her love was a steady presence, her wisdom a guiding star.
She could move mountains with a look, calm storms with a hug, and light up rooms without saying a word. She believed in people - sometimes more that they believed in themselves - and she never stopped reminding them of their worth.
Shirley married the love of her life William Ralph Holloway on March 6th, 1960 in Anderson, Missouri. He proceeded her in death on August 8th, 2003.
Shirley is proceeded in death by her son John Holloway, siblings Edna Burleson, May Brown and J.W Terry.
Shirley is survived by her children Terrie Morgan, husband Russell of Miami Oklahoma, Vickie Crider of Wyandotte Oklahoma and Doug Holloway, wife Debbie of Seneca Missouri. She is survived by her grandchildren Rachelle Gutierrerz, husband Enrique of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Jessica Bridges, husband Eric of Miami, Oklahoma; Angie Renburg, husband Travis of Miami, Oklahoma, Shane King, wife Robyn of Seneca Missouri, Casey Crider and wife Rachel of Seneca and Alyssa Durbin of Seneca Missouri. She is survived by her 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. She is also survived by her special friend Richard Hale.
The world will remember her for her compassion, her courage, her unwavering integrity and the way she made everyone feel like the most important person in the room. But those who knew her best will remember the quite moments, they way her laughter could fill a house and the way her presence made everything feel okay.
The family will receive Friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, June 6, 2025 at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, June 7, 2025 at the New Beginnings Bible Church Seneca, Missouri with Bob Holloway officiating. Burial will be in the Seneca Cemetery with Russell Morgan, Doug Holloway, Shane King, Richard Hale, Casey Crider, and Orlando Gutierrez as pallbearers.
