Shirley Hydrick

Shirley Ann Hydrick, 66, passed away August 21, 2025. The graveside service will be Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Wesson Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements. Mrs. Hydrick was a native of Oklahoma City, OK. She worked for many years as manager at Family Dollar Store. Mrs. Hydrick loved her pups, and she enjoyed canning and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time outdoors whether working in the yard, fishing, or hunting. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Bell Elkins; stepdad, Bud Elkins; stepmother, Lena Carlisle; brothers, Terry Carlisle, Pat Carlisle, and Daniel Carlisle; nephew, Justin Davis; and sister-in-law, Peggy Carlisle. She is survived by her husband, George Hydrick; father, Olen Kenneth Carlisle, Sr.; daughter, Cassidy "Penny" Broome (Brian); stepchildren, Ben Hydrick (Cherie), Janet Jackson (Joey), and Charles Hydrick; brothers, Kenny Carlisle (Lisa), Willie Carlisle (Tina) and Wesley Carlisle (Debbie); sisters, Angel Moorhead (Jeff), Rose Gilmore (Steven), and Virgina Cianelli; and grandchildren, Jack Ferdon, Lizzie Ferdon, Dustin Jackson, Miranda Jackson, Carley Hydrick, Lillie Jackson, Georgia Jackson, Dalton Jackson, Jema Hydrick, Jozy Hydrick, Brittany Friley, Morgan Williams, Sarah Stubblefield, and Emder Hilderbrand; and 11 great grandchildren.
