Shirley L. Jackson, 86, of Sandwich, IL passed away on June 6, 2025. Shirley was born on May 18, 1939 in Mount Vernon, IL to Philip and Lillie (Tate) Minor.

She truly loved being part of the Helping Hands ministry at the Mt. Vernon S.D.A. Church. She has always been a “people person” and loved to help others.

Shirley is survived by 2 daughters, Carla (Jerry) Burton of Millington, IL and Kathy McCleary of Somonauk, IL; Son, Jerry D. (Edith) Jackson of Warsaw, MO; As well as 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Her husband, Carl D. Jackson; 5 brothers, Dennis, Eldon, Harold (Gene), Allen and Jerry; As well as 1 sister, Evalo (Eve) Blanco.

There will be no services at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Beverage Family Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.beveragefamilyfh.com
