Shirley Ann Labere

Shirley Ann LaBere- Loving mother, cherished grandmother, and faithful friend, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, in Spokane, Washington, at the age of 90.

Born January 19, 1935. In Ray, North Dakota. Shirley was the beloved daughter of William J. Weyrauch and Rose Weiner Weyrauch. She graduated from Ray High School in 1953 and pursued her passion for creativity and elegance by earning her college degree in fashion design.

On October 28, 1956, Shirley married Hubert A. LaBere at Saint Michael's Catholic Church in Ray, North Dakota. They later divorced. This union produced three sons. Greg, Tom, and John. Shirley was a devoted mother & very proud of her sons.

Throughout her career, Shirley worked at Fairbanks Morris, Zimmerman Architectural Metals, and as a government budget analyst. Her work ethic and attention to detail were admired by all who knew her.

Shirley found joy in the simple pleasures in life, sewing, gardening, and playing pinochle with friends. A devout catholic, she was a faithful member of Saint Thomas Moore catholic church, where she actively participated in the Ladies of the Altar Society and pinochle card group.

She is survived by her loving children, Greg, Spokane, Washington. Tom (Mary), along with their children, Elise and Patrick, Boise, Idaho. John and his son Solomon, Spokane, Washington. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Doris Weyrauch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rose Weyrauch, Brothers Harold (Bertha) Weyrauch, Cyril (Hazel) Weyrauch, and Sidney (Doris) Weyrauch. Sisters Marcella (Victor) Wheeler and Verena (Alvin) Knox. She is survived by many nieces & nephews.

Shirley will be remembered for her unwavering faith, independent spirit, and love of family.

Mom will be greatly missed & fondly remembered.
