Left to cherish Shirley's memory is her daughter, Jessica Metts, of Brooklyn, New York, son in law, Steve Zeltser, of Brooklyn, New York, and her sister, Cathy Usry, of Beech Island, SC.
Shirley was born in Augusta, GA to the late Lonnie Baxley and Juanita Squires Walters. She spent years barrel racing horses and retired from Kimberly Clark after twenty-three years. Shirley was vibrant and filled with life - always active, loved animals, loved to eat and always looking forward to visiting her daughter in New York. If there is one thing to know about Shirley, it is that anyone who met Shirley instantly loved her. She had a sweetness to her that made you feel like you were the only person in the room. Gone far too soon, and to never be forgotten.
