Shirley L. "Ludwick" Michaels

Shirley L. Ludwick Michaels, 84, of Elizabeth Township, formerly of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept 30th, 2025, at Woodhaven Health and Rehab Center in Monroeville. She was born in Elizabeth on September 11, 1941, to the late Raymond LaSalle and Hazel Louise Shorthouse Ludwick. She is survived by daughter Melissa (Aubrey) Scott of Elizabeth and grandchildren Troy and Alaina. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents. Shirley was a member of the Pine Run United Methodist Church, where she served as Lay Leader, a certified Lay Servant, Coordinator of Senior Saturdays, and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She loved and adored her grandchildren, loved all Pittsburgh Sports and basketball, and enjoyed Luther Vandross and B.E. Taylor music. Shirley worked at Kirkpatrick and Lockhart as well as Williams Coulson as a legal administrative assistant, where she retired. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at S.M. FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 432 N. 6th St, Clairton, PA 15025. A service will take place on Monday at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M., presided by Jude Urso. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
