Born on March 29, 1948, in Sudan, Texas, Shirley grew up with a heart full of love and hands skilled in the creation of beauty. Her final days were spent in the warmth and comfort of San Angelo, where she was surrounded by the community she cherished.
Shirley was the embodiment of love in its purest form. As a sister, her bond with Judy and Lee was unbreakable, and her brothers, Alvin and Jimmy, knew her as a constant source of support and affection. Her family was her pride, and she nurtured each relationship with the same care and attention she gave to her beloved arts and crafts.
A proud graduate of her local high school, Shirley carried the lessons of her education throughout her life, applying her knowledge with practicality and wisdom. She possessed an innate ability to create and to teach, often found with a paintbrush or crafting tool in hand, leaving a trail of beauty in her wake.
Shirley's interests were as colorful as her personality. Arts and crafts were not just hobbies but extensions of her loving nature.
