Shirley Faith Rogers, 70, of Reedsville, peacefully passed away, Tuesday, September 9, 2025, surrounded by her family after a valent four-year battle with cancer. Despite her treatments and pain, she still always had the best hugs and smiles for everyone.

She was born on January 2, 1955, in Bridgeton, NJ, a daughter of the late Helen (Tackovich) Arnold.

Shirley was a fiercely dedicated mother to all her children, raising all of them to accomplish great things. She will be remembered as a beloved mother, wife, grandmother and friend. Family came first and was above all else to her, a value she instilled in those around her. The hole left by Shirley will be impossible to fill. She dedicated over forty years to volunteer work. Shirley will be fondly remembered by hundreds at Cheat Lake Fire Department, West Preston School, Valley District Baseball, West Preston Football and Cheerleading, Girl Scouts, Preston County Soccer and Preston High Band Boosters. Her presence was a constant source of encouragement, kindness, and strength. Those who knew her will remember her generous spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering commitment to others. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen and valued - whether on the sidelines of a game, in the back of an ambulance, or at a fundraiser.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Alan Rogers; children, Raymond Rogers, Christel Feather and Buck, Amber Rogers, HarleyRae Rogers, Roamie Rogers and Adrianna Rogers; grandchildren, Sophie Rogers, Kayson Paul, Cheyenne Tillett and Helen Adams and the many others that loved her as "Nanny".

Friends may call at the Field Funeral Home in Masontown on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from noon until the 2 pm time of service with Reverend Chris Baker officiating. To honor Shirley's wishes, Field Funeral Home will then provide professional and compassionate cremation services.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center and Dr. Nour DaBoul and her staff for the devoted and compassionate care Shirley received during her time with them.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Condolences may be extended online to the family at www.fieldfuneralhome.com.
