Shirley Shingleton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Scott Funeral Home on Oct. 29, 2025.
Shirley "Giggles" Ann Shingleton, 58, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, October 29, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on August 13, 1967, Shirley lived a life full of joy, laughter, and faith. A proud member of Bethel Christian Church, she loved the Lord deeply and shared that love with everyone she met. Her warm smile and cheerful spirit earned her the nickname "Giggles," which perfectly captured her ability to brighten any room.
For 17 years, Shirley was a dedicated employee of Walmart in Clarksville, where she took great pride in her work and cherished her customers and coworkers. Her kindness, patience, and humor made lasting impressions on all who crossed her path.
Shirley loved spending time with her family, listening to music through her beloved earbuds, tending to flowers, and taking family trips to the mountains-her happy place. She also found joy in helping out in the kitchen, where she loved sharing laughter, stories, and good food with those she loved most.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Gordon and Shirley Shingleton; her loving sister, Ronnie Sue; and numerous uncles, aunts, and extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Shirley's life at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, November 4, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
Though her laughter has quieted, her spirit will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew her. Shirley "Giggles" Shingleton's light and love will never be forgotten.
"The joy of the Lord is my strength." - Nehemiah 8:10
