Shirley Shinn Obituary

Shirley retired from Rossford Public Library, she also worked for Gerrards Grocery Store. She loved being outdoors and was an avid bird watcher. She loved fried chicken and watching Gunsmoke. Her greatest joys in life were her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Survived by husband Floyd Shinn, Daughter Kathleen (Jim Peer) Kanfield-Pelow, Daughter-in-law Jan Martin, Stepson Troy (Theresa) Shinn, Grandchildren Jeremy (Cassandra) Upton, Jacqueline Pelow and Issac, Noah and Emma Shinn. Great Grandchildren, Brooklynn, Riley, Audrey, and Anthony. Siblings Audrey (Jim) Cordell, Richard Wamer, Karen Mead, Art (Peg) Wamer, Duane (Nancy) Spring. Preceded in death by father Berman Ryas Wamer, mother Dorothy Spring, children Rex Martin and Barbara Kanfield, and brother Paul Wamer
Friends will be received at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd, Rossford (419-666-1566) on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM with a memorial service at 4:00 PM. Memorial donations in Shirley's name may be made to Southern Care Hospice. Online condolences may be left at walkerfuneralhomes.com.

We were so sorry to hear about Shirley's death. Shirley and I worked together for many years at the Rossford Library. She was a good person to both know and with whom to work. Mike and I send our condolences to Floyd and the whole family.
