Shirley was born March 9, 1936, in Nevada County, AR. She was a graduate of Stephens High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Stephens.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. and Maggie Oma (Comer) Butcher; daughter, Marie Lynette Bankston; son, Robert Boyd Bankston; and sisters, Sybil Waters and Marivonne Fawver.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Teresa Sanderson of Magnolia; two grandchildren both of Washington; sister Bobbi Jean Wilkie of Stephens; and a host of nephews, nieces, and extended family.
Interment of ashes will be in the Stephens Cemetery in Stephens, AR. Cremation services provided by Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.
