Dorothy Louise (Hudman) Everhart, 91 of Waldo, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Dorothy was born on August 22, 1933, in Waldo, Arkansas to the late Roy L. Hudman and Paula Louise (Frazier) Hudman. She traveled throughout the United States and lived in Egypt with her late husband John David Everhart.

Dorothy was a member of Antioch West Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved cooking, canning, gardening, sewing, and living the farm girl life.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents and husband; and five siblings, Edwin Hudman, Nerine McGee, Jack Hudman, Wendell Hudman, and Gene Hudman.

Dorothy is survived by her three children, John K. Everhart and wife Saundra of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Jeffrey D. Everhart of Waldo, Arkansas, and Richard T. Everhart of Woodruff, South Carolina; a brother Harvey Hudman of Waldo; step grandchildren, Dakota and Candy; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation with the family will begin at 9:00 am on Thursday, August 28,2025, at Antioch West Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 10:00 am with Bro. Chris Lucy and Bro. Danny Bullock officiating with burial at Barlow Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia.

Memorial donations may be made to Barlow Cemetery Association, c/o Karen Bridges, 2111 Columbia Road 27 South, Magnolia, Arkansas 71753.
