Shirley Stone

Shirley A. (Goodspeed) Stone, 84, of Nashua, beloved wife and best friend of Richard Stone for 58 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones she laughed with, lived for, and loved on March 30, 2024.
The daughter of Frederick and Florence (Courtemanche) Goodspeed, Shirley was born in Nashua, NH on March 29, 1940. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Roland and Richard Goodspeed.

A registered nurse by trade, Shirley worked as an occupational nurse at the former Sanders (BAE). After retirement she enjoyed keeping occupied reading, and working on "Find A Words". To Shirley her family was her pride and joy. She was the most happy when the family was all together. Shirley is survived by her sons Kevin (Renelle) of Nashua, Jeffrey (Donna) Sr. of Merrimack, and Neil (Deb) of Nashua; her grandchildren, Meghan, Ashleigh, her fiancé Matthew, Allison, her husband Ryan, Jeffrey Jr., Cally, Blake and step grandson Ryan Mahaney; her brothers, Frederick, Jr. and his wife Bittie of Helotes, Texas, Robert and his wife Patricia, Frank, and Keith of Nashua, a sisters-in-law, Marguerite of Nashua, several nieces, nephews, a special friend Claudette Bergeron, her partner Bruce, as well as many other close friends who supported her through life's journey.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 East Dunstable Rd. Nashua on Thursday, April 4 from 11 AM until 1 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visiting hours at 1 PM in the Church. Interment will follow the Mass at St. Louis de Gonzaque Cemetery.
