Shirley K. Utech

Shirley Kay Utech, age 63 of Shafer, Minnesota died unexpectedly on February 2, 2025. She was born in Chisago City, Minnesota to parents Stanley and Sandra Mitthun on October 6, 1961.
Shirley was a kindhearted person, loved her children, grandchildren and her animals. She took care of her family and other people. She would meet people and know their life story. She was also a dedicated hard worker. She was a cheerleader all through life and was also 1st chair for flute at Forest Lake High School. She partied like a rock star.
Shirley is preceded in death by her father Stanley, brother Dean, stepson David Utech (Emily), and grandson Joseph (Joey) Huot. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Edward Utech; Mother Sandra; children Minda Kay Schleicher (Bobby), Onnie Salo, and Lenny Salo (Lindsay Shille); Denise Utech-Pratt (Marcus); grandchildren, John, Matthew, Mark and Luke Schleicher, Ayden and Onnie Salo Jr, Calvin Hager, Noah and Nathan Salo, Brayden Shille, Carly Crowell, Amanda and Alexander Utech, Kassandra Erickson (Christian) and Zach Jenner. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends.
