Shneitha Shnella Beasley

On August 31, 2025, Shneitha Shnella Beasley, affectionately known as "Shoney," heard the Lord call her name and carefully took his hand and transitioned into eternity at the age of 51 years young. Ms. Beasley leaves to cherish precious memories, her daughters, Tyshone,' Ty-Keah, her bonus daughter Ashley, bonus son Tyrone, her mother, Carolyn Little, sisters: Wanda, Teshawn, Trinell and Lynell, brothers: Cornelius, Alonzo, Donnell, Darren Byrd, Dennis Byrd, and Cory Smith. She will be remembered with devotion by her companion Terence Wilson, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father's Vernell Byrd and Herman Beasely. A Celebration Service honoring the life and legacy of the late Shneitha Shnella Beasley will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, for 10:00 a.m. at The City of Love Church, 8601 Palmetto Street, New Orleans, LA 70118. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Bishop Lester Love, officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Metairie, LA.
