Shuron Malone Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Myers Mortuary & Cremation Services at Alpine Road on Dec. 16, 2025.
Shuron David Malone, beloved son, brother, father, partner, and friend, transitioned from this life in December 2025. He was deeply loved and will be remembered for his presence, his creativity, and the undeniable mark he left on those who knew him.

Shuron was a man of many layers. He carried both light and struggle, brilliance and burden, laughter and pain. Those closest to him knew his heart-his love for music, his passion for expression, and his desire to be seen, heard, and understood. He was creative, charismatic, and deeply human.

Above all, Shuron loved his children. He leaves behind six beautiful children, who remain his greatest legacy. Through them, his life continues, his voice echoes, and his memory lives on.

Shuron's journey was not simple, and neither is the story of his life. But it was real. And it was his. He was loved fiercely by his family, supported in countless ways, and held through many seasons. Those who truly knew him understood both his gifts and his struggles-and loved him still.

Shuron will be remembered not only for what he endured, but for the love he gave, the connections he made, and the lives he touched. May his children know that they were deeply loved, and may his memory be held with truth, compassion, and grace.

A public celebration of life is on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Second Nazareth Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina.

With love and remembrance.

In Lieu of Flowers:

The family is deeply grateful for the love and care shown by the community, and for the many who have reached out asking how they can help during this time.

As a family, we are prioritizing the children. While flowers are a customary expression of sympathy, we are respectfully requesting that flowers not be sent.

For those who have asked how they might offer support, or who were already planning to give, we invite you to consider a small gift for one of the children instead, especially as this loss comes during the holiday season.

There is no expectation or obligation. Any single gesture, offered with care, is appreciated.

Shuron leaves behind six children:

• an 11-year-old boy

• a 9-year-old boy

• a 7-year-old girl

• a 6-year-old boy

• a 5-year-old girl

• a 3-year-old boy
