Wichita, Kansas - Sidney Ellis Bayouth, age 87, of Wichita, former co-owner Bayouth IGA, passed away, Saturday, April 12, 2025. Visitation with family 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, Cornerstone Bible Church, 2235 N. Amidon; graveside service 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, Old Mission Cemetery, 3424 E. 21st St. N. A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cornerstone Bible Church. Sid is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; daughters, Christy Lynn and Deborah Kay Bayouth; parents, Ellis and Zakia Bayouth; brothers, Jack, Bob and Larry Bayouth; sisters, Eloise, Gladys and Sally Bayouth, and Gloria Laham. He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Bayouth, Sandi Bayouth and Stephanie Dick (Nathan); brothers, Lindy, and Harry (Carol) Bayouth; and sister, Vivianne Farha; grandchildren, Renee, Nicole and Josh Dick; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with Bible Broadcasting Network, PO Box 7300, Charlotte, NC 28241-7300. View tributes at smithfamilymortuaries.com. Dear Stephanie, Teresa, Sandy, & family, we are so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a such a kind man. I will never forget seeing him at Dillons and his kind smile. I know you will miss him but now he is free of suffering and in the presence of Jesus. Praying for your peace and comfort.

I have appreciated Sid´s faithfulness in his walk with the Lord. With his being a parent and a board member at Christian Challenge School while I was in administration there 1978-81 and again around 1984 until it´s closing in 1990, became familiar with his walk. In recent years, I have appreciated my reconnects with him. Teresa, Sandi and Stephanie, may God be your comfort in your grief.
