Sidney James Daigle

Sidney "James" Daigle Jr.,49, entered his eternal rest on December 16, 2024, in Crosby, Texas. James was born in Baytown, Texas on April 14,1975 to Joy Lynne Turman and late Sidney James Daigle, Sr.
James grew up and went to school in Highlands. He was a graduate of Ross S Sterling High School in Baytown. He would then go on to have a career as an Instrumentation & Electrician Tech. Where he would work in this field to support his family. James loved going to the gym and was an avid member since his teenage years. James was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He found joy in life's simple pleasures and valued time spent with family and friends. His faith was central to his life; as a member of Crosby Church, he drew strength from his relationship with God and the fellowship of his church community.
James was the cherished son of Joy Lynne (Turman) Althar and stepson to James Althar. And brother, Timothy Daigle. He was a devoted father to his three children: Hannah Mae Hamlin and husband Tommy, Thomas Andrew Daigle, and Sidney Lynne Arcos and husband Geovanni. He was known as "Papa Bear" to his grandchildren. His heart was filled with pride as a grandfather to Orianna RoseLynne Greff, Thomas Jaggar Ray Daigle, and Jaxson Tomas Arcos.
James is also survived by his aunt Gaye Jordan and husband Joe; uncles Randy Turman, Adam Turman and David Turman. His memory will be treasured by numerous family members, cousins, and close friends who held him dear.
James was preceded in death by his father, Sidney James "Bubba" Daigle Sr.; maternal grandparents Jacqueline and Emmett Turman; his uncles and aunts.
A service celebrating James' life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Crosby Church, located at 5725 Highway 90, Crosby, Texas 77532.
