Sidney Berry "Sonny" Gore Jr

Sidney Berry Gore, Jr (Sonny) died on October 18, 2025 at Dartmouth/Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Sonny was born in Sceva Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, New Hampshire on August 28, 1946, the son of Sidney Berry Gore and Shirley E. Gore (Gardiner).
He attended Plymouth Area Schools and was a "Multi-Sport Standout."
Sonny enlisted in the United States Navy. After serving his Country, he began a career in construction that lasted nearly 50 years. Many will remember the hammer holster he proudly wore.
Sonny was a long-time member of the local Elks Lodge in Plymouth, where many familiar faces will remember him.
Sonny enjoyed many past time hobbies and activities including golf, darts, pool and anything that presented a challenge and opportunity to compete.
He was particularly happy to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family. He never missed an opportunity for a holiday gathering or family event.
Sonny was quick to offer a helping hand to friends and built many friendships throughout his life. He will be missed by many.
Sonny is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Blair Cemetery, Blair Road in Campton, New Hampshire in the Spring of 2026 at a date to be announced.
