GROVE, Sidney Tavern Of Concord, died peacefully on September 1, 2022. Survived by her husband of 64 years, William Jarboe "Bo" Grove; two daughters, Sara Grove Macaulay and her husband, Jim, and Hannah Shaw Grove and her partner, Aris; two granddaughters, Emily Macaulay Lawson and her husband, Eric, and Isabel Garland Macaulay; and three great-grandchildren, William, Nora and Abigail Lawson. Relatives and friends will gather for a Memorial Service in Duvall Chapel at Newbury Court, 80 Deaconess Road, CONCORD, on Saturday, October 1st at 11 am. Private Burial was held at Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to NEDA to support the Newbury Court Resident Scholarship Fund, c/o New England Deaconess Association, 80 Deaconess Road, Concord, MA 01742. I have tried to find Sydney for many years. I was her fitness instructor in Bristol, TN in the 1990s. She was very dear to me. I am saddened to discover that she had passed only a few months ago. My condolences to Bo and her family. I would appreciate knowing more about how she spent her life in Massachusetts. She was an important part of the community in Bristol.
